This program honors lived experience and embodied knowledge. In the world of an intellectual substitution by Artificial Intelligence, embodied knowledge systems need to be mined further to deepen connections, both local and global. "Democracy in Plie" is one such event that will feature professionals from musical opera and traditional Indian styles. It is an interdisciplinary performance event where local artists will perform alongside those from New Jersey and Ohio.
