The Center for Migration and Diaspora Studies is pleased to host Dr. Marc Helbling, Professor of Sociology and executive board member of the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) at the University of Mannheim and Research Fellow at the WZB Berlin Social Center. His visit is funded by the Baden-Württemberg/North Carolina Exchange Program. His research focuses on immigration and citizenship policies, nationalism and national identities, xenophobia and Islamophobia, and right-wing populism.
