Presenter: Griffin Corriher is a Data Scientist at The Hartford, where he contributes to advanced analytics initiatives within the personal insurance division. With a strong foundation in data science, statistical modeling, and software development, Griffin brings a unique perspective shaped by a diverse career that includes prior roles in mission-critical engineering and nuclear operations with the U.S. Navy.
Before transitioning into data science, Griffin served as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the U.S. Navy and later as a Critical Facilities Engineer at JLL, where he developed deep expertise in high-reliability systems and operational leadership. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from UNC Charlotte, where he was an active leader in the School of Data Science student community.
