The film highlights the refugee experience in North Carolina, the school to prison to deportation pipeline, and the power of resilience and community resistance. This event is the first in a series on "Immigrant Inclusion, Integration, and Citizenship in Charlotte" funded by an Inclusive Excellence Grant from the UNC Charlotte Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
