Under the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), Dr. Kefaya Diab, an Assistant Professor of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies, and an OUR Faculty Fellow, has been facilitating a Faculty Learning Community (FLC) to infuse research in thw ungergraduate curriculum at UNC Charloote for the last 3 years. In this session/ workshop, Dr. Diab will provide an overview of the FLC program for the 2026-27 school year, and invite faculty to join the FLC. Joining faculty will meet for one hour monthly to exchange ideas, learn from experts in the subject matter, and work on their own research-based learning ideas. The FLC meetings introduce faculty to the latest theories and pedagogies around designing and executing research-based activities in their undergraduate classes across the curriculum.
