https://ninerengage.charlotte.edu/event/10385763Join Atkins Library, the Department of Languages, Cultures, and Translation, and the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, to explore storytelling through bibliotherapy for well-being and resilience. There will be a sound bath healing circle, resource fair, and materials will be provided to make journals. This program will acknowledge Hispanic Heritage Month and recognize the various cultures it encompasses. Students will enhance their success and overall well-being through the power of literature and shared cultural experiences.
Program Details
5:15-6:00pm Healing Sounds Bath (Visualization Lab, 2nd floor) - Join for a relaxing sound based activity. Bring a yoga mat to sit on if you'd like.
6:00-7:00pm Recourse Fair & Journal Making (Halton, 1st floor) - Join to learn about campus community resources, make a mini-journal to use during the Bibliotherapy Program, and grab some food!
7:00-7:30pm Bibliotherapy Activity with Rosanny Crumpton (Halton, 1st floor) - Join for a guided activity of writing and storytelling.
